I've been very busy this week, with just 2 weeks left for my first paper F6 - Tax... im just only 50% done with revising on that paper... luckily i finish revising F7 - FRS (only left with practising and sharpening for this paper)
For this week, other than revising for my ACCA exams, i've been attending all interviews that we granted to me... the number of interviews are numbering almost once every 2 days... i was offered quite a number of interesting jobs, including Internal audit, external audit, forensic audit and even accounts assistant. I've shortlisted to just 2 companies and i really hope to be able to secure a job before i start my exams (the very least i can start a job immediately after my exams, been slacking around long enough)
I went cycling one very early and gloomy morning... the trip to seletar reservoir was quite a scary one (Didn't know cycling on the road is so dangerous and risky)... but its much safer (cause i fell into the side of the road while cycling on the pavement). The air is fresh and i felt so relax with the cycling... although i missed the sunrise, i felt the serenity while i was there at the reservoir... here are the pics:

This place is quite popular among Car enthu... i often see car clubs gatherings here... MX-5, Getz, Mazda 3, Hayabusa and many more... i ever seen a live illegal car race here... The infamous AE86 was there too!

This is the long stretch of road that you can try drag racing... actually its not really safe now as police increased their patrol and often road block this area... not forgetting the high and frequent road humps that can damage lowered car bumper and the car under carriage.

Usually during the fishing season, u can see lots of anglers fishing here. I used to spot many jelly fish around the area... looks like those that can sting and hurt u really bad....

The golf club (Orchid Country Club).

If you come here during the nite on a weekend or PH... you will see lots of people here... BBQ (i did that there once), family picnic etc...

There is a house in those swamps... wonder who would actually stay there...

You can see the olympic torch burning (no la, its from the Senoko power plant)

There is another house right at the end of the long stretch of road... and a few speed boats too... i guess it belongs to the fisher man whose Kelong is not far from here?

The vast sea and open sky that relaxes ur mind whild gazing at the sceneary.

I had been pinned down at home studying... so i decided to go out for some fresh air before i turn mouldy... right after one of my interview, i went to HMV and Luis Vuitton Shop to look at some things... I found this Orchestra CD very tempting, at last i couldn't resist the temptation and bought it back home to try... its performed by Japanese Orchestra... not too bad... they reinvented the way those old folks play Concertos...
I cant believe that you have to qeue to get into LV shop... its either Singaporeans are getting richer or LV is trying to create a qeue to get attention (Come on... Singapore love to qeue to see whats happening in front... its a pass time for many...) I qeue specially to look at the LV Messenger bag, the cost? $1950... i guess i can get it cheaper by a few hundred bucks if i purchase it in France... No point getting it in Singapore...

The CD that i bought...

Ok, every Friday is "go for a walk day" for Uno... the usual route... while running i spotted this crashed Snail with some yellow ball in it... think those are the eggs (can any insectologist confirm?) poor snail... i guess it just became food for birds and other mammals.

Above is the Monster dog that i've been talking about... Gosh its scary... it came barking so furiously when Uno ran pass (its Uno's dog tag that gave our position away)... it really is a monster, it has more than 6 Tits!!!!!!!

You can see how tired he was from his walk... he knocked out after i bathed him...

Ok, Uno is one very fantastic dog, guess what he did while walking home? initially i thought he wanted to pee on a pillar so i extended the line for him to stay at the pillar and i continue walking... then he appear with a bread in his mouth!!!!!!! (where in the world that piece of bread came from???)
I forced open his mouth and tried snatching it away from him... while he tried swollowing the whole thing.... at last, i managed to get 3/4 of it away from him...

This is my lunch! Tang Yuan with peanuts filling... Yummy!
Just for laugh:
Lets see we should do that?

Can you spot what is wrong in this picture?

Look at the sign board!

Ok, this is from stomp, you can read it here: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/viewPost6767.aspx

People say its daring, its new age... Personally i feel the couple has created unwanted attention during the wedding dinner... people might think that they had a shotgun marriage and are educating all that they should not follow in their steps and have protected sex before marriage? your thoughts?

This is a CV of a person who wanted to apply for a post as manager of EPL Club Middlesbrough... Have a good laugh

His CV, stating that his career highlights like bringing unkown clubs to EPL and winning titles and cups with unknown clubs... all in the computer game Championship manager!

The response he got from the chairman... I never thought that they would even entertain him... the rejection letter sound like he got snub real bad...

Ok now for some Russel Peters, this one is really really funny....
i really like his talk show and im gonna buy his DVD or VCD...
Here is some really interesting things that you can learn or ur mum or ur maid.... if u find yourself taking too much time folding shirts here is what you can do:
I found this video very very interesting... didn't know they can do that at the train rail way...
alrite, thats all for today... wish me luck as im gonna prepare form my exams now...

My life is turning nocturnal... i sleep late into the day and turn in late in the night... if u consider 2am late.. OK Starting from this MONDAY, i will sleep before 11pm and wake up before 7am. (hopefully i can do it!)

Anyway, i manage to catch a movie and had my dinner at Casuarina Prata at Casuarina (of course)... can u believe that at 10 PM its full house!!! either the prata are too delicious (which ofcourse is the case or it happen to be international prata day).

Im actually hooked on this piece of cake (had it for breakfast, tea break and even supper sometimes), its from bread talk and cost $1.50 ($2.50 if u buy 2) its really delicious and its actually sponge cake with cream in the middle and raisins. Strongly recommended by me.

I am a little dissapointed with this movie, first of all, with all the hype about it being something close to "300" and "Troy" the movie main character "Beowulf " wasn't even portrayed as close to the likes of Leonardias and Achilles. The movie is actually about this demon witch who will seduce those Kings and mate with them, giving birth to random demons (Golum or Dragon or watever la). This kinda reminds me of Tamagochi, where u get random creature. Those kings will reign supreme for some time till the child grows up and starts creating troubling in his kingdom. Its a curse actually to those Kings, and Beowulf fell for it too! i'll give it a 6/10 for this movie... the animation kinda resemble Shrek!

Ok, for dinner, its Casuarina PRATA!!!!!! THIS IS PRATAAA!!!!

Thai coconut for drinks, this is to bring down the heatiness of those prata(think it helps)

Ok, when Marcus ordered the Large Mutabark, the waiter told us that its enough to feed both of us and its very big, he say if we can finish and still feel hungry, then we can order more (think he is trying to help us not to waste food). Anyway, we still went ahead with this large murtabark and more prata! Come to think of it, this Chicken Cheese Mushroom Murtabark has some pricing problem... small is $7, Medium is $8 and Large $9... for $2 u get a more than double in size, so which one will u order? I guess they have to do some cost accounting to get things rite here...
Come to think of it, i guess many people would have thought what we thought, and they couldn't finish what the whole lot, and either they play with the food or they throw it to strays or worse they did a Mr Bean (put those left overs in drain, under the plate, under the table, in vase etc)... Guess thats why he wanted to warn us and prevent us from doing that.
Marcus DID finish it... and this is not the first time he did it.

The cheese and egg prata are my fav... crispy and hot...

Nothing Beats this Sugar Cane Juice in the hot afternoon!

Ok, im glad that i made a huge progress in my revision, i actually finish revising the whole of my F7 and will be doing lots of revision questions after my tax paper ( i have ard 8 days to do it). Meanwhile i hope 14 days is sufficient to finish my tax revision.

From now on, no more Justice league cartoon and Games anymore...

Its Mayhem!!!

Ok, today i must admit... its a rather rush hour for me... Suppose to wake up at 650 - 7am to bring Uno for a walk before heading for an interview... but over slept and woke up at 745... immediately washed up and brought Uno out at 8am... only have 1/2 hr. When i was at the park, im quite surprise to see quite a no. of people up and running already... most of them spouses of the US Marines i guess. I met this funny Ah Pek who was walking with his bicycle, he saw this lady (Caucasian) running past him and he said very loudly "Gd Morning" and she ignored him and continued running (she has her iPod in her ears)... the Ah Pek looked so embarrassed when i ran passed him...

Ok, the interview that i went to was at OUB Plaza... the post that they actually offered me was in the financial advisory department doing liquidation, foresnic audit and Finance advisory role (e.g. find out how to maximise the assets of the company, plan for the company's future money use etc...) Had an interview with the director that lasted more than an hour... seems to me a nice guy though... in regards to this job, im kinda "green horn" in this area, well, im not gonna reject this job offer totally... and if i do not receive any more good offers, i might just give this job a try...

Later on, i met my mum for lunch at Waraku... ok, here are the pics:

Xmas is round the corner, heres the Xmas Tree.
Ok, you should be able to guess where this store is now... This restaurant has my 5 star pick anytime... its food is extremely Oishi and not too expensive...
Ok, dun be fooled, this is not what i ordered, this are all plastic model to tempt anyone who goes near it... Health Warning: Dun look at it on an empty stomache
This is a Japanese Soda drink, taste cool and refreshing, not overly sweet though.
Age Dashi Dofu! crispy skin topped with sauce and reddish and some spring onions. Its Cripsy on the outside and soft in the inside. Oishi!
Ok, i got so hungry i ate the Hotate Sushi that i forget to take a picture of it first... heres the mayo crab Sushi. Their sashimi and sushi are imcomparable with the other sushi restaurant (e.g. Sakae, Ichiban, Sushi Tei etc) their sushi are made to order, you can taste the warm and fresh rice and crispy seaweed and the ingredients are so very fresh! compared to Sakae, its a far cry from it...
This is the Chi Ramen i ordered. its Ramen in some kinda Chilli soup topped with bamboo shoots and pork meat. the noodle is not very different or special, but i find the soup very tasty and delicious, especially the bamboo shoots and pork meat.
My Mum had this Chicken Curry Udon. She said its very nice and not spicy.

Ok, enuff for the food for now... i was going through all my reciepts and i actually found out that i did not have a hair cut since 17 Sept 2007... thats a whooping 2 mths and counting... with my long and messy hair, i can no longer use Gatsby pink and Purp, they are for short hair, and if i use it on my hair now, it'll look like i had UHU glue stick on it... So i bought Gatsby Green colour (for longer hair)... see my collection of Gatsby Hair Wax...

Alright, now for some breaking news, some scuffle broke out at Toa Pah Yoh today and its about this Caucasian who allegedly beat up 2 FEMALE students when there was some misunderstanding between his wife (i suppose) and those 2 female students.

http://www.princess-michie.blogspot.com/ ==> this is the student's blog

Those above are the videos of the scuffle... personally i feel violence does not solve anything, it only brings hatred and revenge and blah blah blah... the best part is, this is a civil case and not police case... hahahahahhahaha, so this gives us the right to use violence and fight back? ok so all female out there, below is a video on how you can protect yourself:

http://www.5min.com/Video/Learn-how-to-street-fight-4195

Enuff with the violence thingy now, heres some humorous stuff u can laught your hearts out. of all the questions asked, im almost able to answer 80 - 90% of it....

ok, Christmas round the corner, its time to whip out the pen and paper and write down the wish list... i accomplished most of the things in my wish list that i wrote for 2006, and hopefully, im able to get all of it next year! That includes a Armani Jacket, LV messenger bag, LV belt and a Tag Heuer watch... HEHEHHEHEH

Its a boring day!

I managed to revise my ACCA Paper F7 up to the point where i can safely say im right on schedule. So happy~~ Ok, time to stop dreaming and procrasinating... Anyway, its 12:49 on a Friday morning, and im here sitting in front of my computer typing this blog entry...
Anyway, theres 1 movie and 1 cartoon series that left me with a sad and surreal feeling. Ok, first is the movie "Titanic" i believe everyone (especially gals) have watched this over and over in the cinema and cried many times too (come on dun be shy to admit)... It really is very very sad to see how Rose who found her true love one (Jack) at Titanic only to lose him together with the ship when it sank... And cruelty struck when she has to recall it and tell it over again to a group of people. To recall a heart breaking story and tell it over to someone is like putting salt over an open wound. One quote that stood out is this "A Women's heart is an Oceans of deep secrets"... This is really one sad story...
Second is this cartoon "Justice League". This particular series is really terrifying and it could someday be a reality. Justice League has another dimension that has exactly the same set of super hero (Superman, Batman, Flash, Wonderwomen, Hawk girl, Green Lantern) but this set are known as the Justice Lord, and they make all the decision in the world. And the laws are so strictly enforced that 1 litter thrown, 1 simple quarrel or disagreement could land you in trouble with the law... How would you want to live in a society like that? Luckily, the original set of heros disposed them off...
Picture of the Day:

Take a good look at this picture and see how many of the historical people you can identify.

This Taxi seems to have thought that there is a parkinglot behind!!! Luckily no one was hurt!!!

Ok have a good laugh at this Playstation 3 wannabe(got this from a website):

While some of you may be tempted by the new $399 PlayStation 3 for your kids this Christmas, we urge you to keep a...competitor...in mind. The FunStation 3 may look like a cheap PS3 knockoff, and sure, it totally is a cheap PS3 knockoff. But hear our logic out for a second...

1. Screw Blu-ray vs. HD DVD, it hurts the consumer. Cartridge technology is time-tested and probably even more expensive to produce—which the manufacturers will love.

2. You see that number on the FunStation cartridge? That's 1,000,000 buddy. And we can only assume that number accurately correlates with the number of games that come bundled with the system. And a million is like a bajillion times what the PS3 has out.

3. There's got to be a good, shady ebay listing that can come from this product, why not cash in early? Then take all that money and you can buy a real PS3 around FORTY $13.50 FunStation 3s...which you have to admit, would be awesome*.

(Sony, we're totally joking. Please don't take Ratchet & Clank away. It would hurt us. Physically.) [product via ubergizmo]

Been chomping down on KFC lately? Read this article and im sure you will think twice before you bite into those crispy KFC Chicken!

http://www.kentuckyfriedcruelty.com/

KFC suppliers cram birds into huge waste-filled factories, breed and drug them to grow so large that they can’t even walk, and often break their wings and legs. At slaughter, the birds’ throats are slit and they are dropped into tanks of scalding-hot water—often while they are still conscious. It would be illegal for KFC to abuse dogs, cats, pigs, or cows in these ways.KFC’s own animal welfare advisors have asked the company to take steps to eliminate these abuses, but KFC refuses to do so. Many advisors have now resigned in frustration.

Please join Pamela Anderson, Sir Paul McCartney, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, The Rev. Al Sharpton, and countless other kind people worldwide by not eating at KFC.

Time to look back~~

Dreams, i believe everyone have their own dreams of what they want to be when they grow up... be it inspired by their super hero in those comic books or Cartoon series or thier idols performing on stage or even their parents.

For me, i've always wanted to join the "special forces" e.g. Special Air Service, Delta Force, Green Beret etc kinda special forces, where i will be put at the front line in real situations where all my training will be put to test. haha, thats after all a dream... even if i may be fit enough for all this (which i am obviously not) i dun think i belong there...
I happen to be looking through my photo album of my BMT and OCS days, and they really bring back a lot of memories for me. I can never forget my BMT days, those days spend in the Jungle, playing games, those nites where we gather together to get to know each other through a hot cup noodles... and not forgetting those nites where we party away during our book out days...
Going through those photos really brought me back to those days and it felt so real that i can almost smell the smell of tekong and SAFTI... Those were the days...

I was from Leopard Platoon 4 enlisted 1.10.04, and this picture was taken the day after we POP at a chalet in Pasir Ris. Sorry mates, i cant remember most of ur names rite now, but i will be taking out my BMT photo shoot to recall all ur names. Hopefully i can organise a gather/meet up for all of Platoon 4 mates.

This is a special lunch prepared by my mum (how loved). Pepper fries with black pepper chicken chop and a sunny side up.
Thats all i have for now... back for my studies now....

Time is of the essence!!!

130am... This is the time that im still up and studying (actually blogging)... Time is catching up and its into my 4th week of studies and i've yet to complete revising paper F7 for my ACCA exams. I've yet to even touch F6 and i estimate i have another 2weeks to revise and practice before my exams on the 3rd of Decemeber.

Actually i wanted to blog before my favourite cartoon starts - THE JUSTICE LEAGUE!!! and my favourite hero is Batman, why? because he does not rely on any super powers but only his own will, determination and wits to overcome anything.

I cant believe that i am actually practising to sing 2 songs for my upcoming Kbox session with my friends (dunno when). Hopefully can sing it well... otherwise will be very malu...

Ok, this blog will be short and sweet....

First off is SNACK OF THE DAY:

My mum got this for me in the afternoon, really cheesy snack, one of my fav... too bad Uno cant get to eat it... else he is gonna scratch all day long again...

Picture of the day:

I came across this picture in HWZ forums and thought i share it with u guys, this is a guy with hundreds of super soaker!!! Dunno why he needs so many for...

Article of the day:

I came across this article in HWZ mag that says, "Don't spend another dollar on an internet seminar until you read this!" this article is basically about a guy name Benjamin Wee who is an eBay specialist and he basically sells things on eBay. He claims that he is earning thousands of dollars a week (even while sleeping).

Ok in a nut shell: this article is about this guy who did not pay/buy any books or attend any seminar to make millions. It tells on how he spot the chance to earn $$ while studying in the states selling used books on the internet and *poof* he made a fortune. And he claims that these seminars and pay to reveal my million making schemes are all but scams...

Well i guess there is a chinese saying "every industry has its prodigy" that said, i believe it is not by mere chance or luck that he made millions, its because he has the talent in spotting chances and he takes it well, (he tells of his PS3 selling tatics in this article). Hopefully i can spot this chance one day.

Finally, my beloved Samurai X DVD anime has arrived. Initially i bought the Samurai X Chapter 2 and i was missing on the chapter 1 (Fight with Shin Shio). For years i've been trying to find this and i happen to find it on a 2nd hand website for $50... What a find that was!!! Gonna watch again after my exams.

Last but not least, if you have 9 mins to spare, watch Russel Peters in action... Have a good laugh!!!
