STOP ANIMAL CRUELTY AND ANIMAL EXPERIMENTING

It is indeed saddening and disappointing to come to the knowledge that scientist, students at colleges around the world, big reputable corporations are using animals as lab tools.

Vivisection (dissecting of the animal) is performed on dogs, cats and mices, draize test (chemicals being dripped into the eyes) performed on rabbits with their eye lids cut off, medical and poison test (cancer cells, AIDS virus and other maclicious virus injected into the animals) performed on monkeys and even psychology and military weapons (animals are purposely blinded from birth, limbs are crushed, bones and body parts mutiliated) are performed on cats, dogs, horse etc... these are all done without the effect of anaestic, which literally means the animals are totured for days until they die.

I cant help but condemned such acts that are being carried out in the name of science or whatever course they believe. Some pictures below for awarness, please avoid scrolling down if you have a faint heart:

I cant imagine who would have the heart to perform all this sick research test on the animals... ofcourse there are also many other worse case than these happening in the world especially in China where the fur trade is ongoing.

I wonder how much would the scientist scream if the animals would one day perform vivisection on them, eating them alive or even mutiliating them alive.

If you are performing such cruel acts, please stop all these inhumane act. Else, i am sure that one day you will suffer a fate worse than those animals.

and before i forget, come one day, i will definitely do my part in ridding of these scums.

Einstein's Intelligence Quiz

Einstein wrote this quiz last century. He said that 98% of the people in the world cannot solve the quiz.

There are 5 houses in 5 different colors.
In each house lives a person with a different nationality.
These 5 owners drink a certain type of beverage, smoke a certain brand of cigar, and keep a certain pet. No owners have the same pet, smoke the same brand of cigar or drink the same drink.
Here's the question: Who owns the fish?

1. The Brit lives in a red house
2. The Swede keeps dogs as pets
3. The Dane drinks tea
4. The green house is on the left of the white house
5. The green house owner drinks coffee
6. The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds
7. The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill
8. The man living in the house right in the middle drinks milk
9. The Norwegian lives in the first house
10. The man who smokes Blend lives next door to the one who keeps cats.
11. The man who keeps horses lives next door to the man who smokes Dunhill
12. The owner who smokes Blue Master drinks beer
13. The German smokes Prince
14. The Norwegian lives next to the blue house
15. The man who smokes Blend has a neighbor who drinks water

With these 15 clues the problem is solvable.
Here's the question: Who owns the fish?
I am still trying to solve this quiz. Einstien solved this quiz using his mental ability i.e. without pen and paper. His IQ range is thought to be in the range of 160 - 200. A normal range of IQ level is 80 - 110. Any level above 120 would be considered exceptionally smart and beyond 160? you are being branded the same level as Einstien.

MY APPLE ROOM

Repainted my room over the week end with the help of my Mum and Dad, Thanks! This time round the colour is white... i didn't realise how nice this colour was compared to the grey shad last time round. It really compliment well the colour of my TV bench and wardrobe.
Now my room really look like those Apple iPod room. I need another coating i guess. the first and second coating don't look like its enough.

MAZDA RX-8

This car is so cool... and is my dream car. I hope to be able to own one of this when i start working and save up enough. PI quote me a cool $75k... the hard part is not in maintaing the HP but the fuel and servicing (every 5000km, because its a rotary engine -_-''')

Anyway, i shall work towards it!

WISDOM TOOTH EXTRACTION!

Ok, i do not want to gross you guys out with pictures of my tooth and such, but i recently had just had my wisdom tooth extracted out at National Dental Center. I must thank the doctors and nurses there for they have been very very patient and professional. Not forgeting caring (they even call me the day after the surgery).

Thank God too, for the surgery went on smoothly and is now healing very well.

KUISHINBO FOR SATURDAY'S GATHERING

Had a gathering on Saturday and we went to Kuishinbo for Dinner. For those who yet to try (I believe there are still some), this is a must try.

The buffet have a great variety, from Alasakan Snow crabs (did i get it right) to Tempura to ebi fry to Japanese paper steam boat.

One of the few of my favourites are:

1. Waguyi beef
2. Salmon Sashimi
3. Unagi
4. Alaskan snow crab

The next time i go there, will just go for those...

Second, we went to Paulaner Bräuhaus. The setting was somewhat ok, but i made a mistake in ordering wine... Thats the last straw, no more wines in pubs... I kinda expected it when the wine was not even cork screw... Alas, good wine at a German pub? i must be crazy...

Third and last stop was at Butter Factory and Zouk with Xander. First time at Butter Factory many times at Zouk...

The ambience and music was just right at Butter Factory, i like R&B more than any other Genre thats why...

Had a fun and eventful night, thanks guys!

MARRIAGE
This is an article i got from one of the forums - here is the link http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/showthread.php?t=2226616

When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I've got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes.Suddenly I didn't know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce.

I raised the topic calmly. She didn't seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why? I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man!

That night, we didn't talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Dew. I didn't love her anymore. I just pitied her! With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company. She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces.

The woman who had spent ten years of her life with me had become a stranger. I felt sorry for her wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take back what I had said for I loved Dew so dearly. Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release. The idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer now.

The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing something at the table. I didn't have supper but went straight to sleep and fell asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Dew.When I woke up, she was still there at the table writing. I just did not care so I turned over and was asleep again.

In the morning she presented her divorce conditions: she didn't want anything from me, but needed a month's notice before the divorce. She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal a life as possible. Her reasons were simple: our son had his exams in a month's time and she didn't want to disrupt him with our broken marriage. This was agreeable to me.

But she had something more, she asked me to recall how I had carried her into out bridal room on our wedding day.She requested that everyday for the month's duration I carry her out of our bedroom to the front door ever morning. I thought she was going crazy. Just to make our last days together bearable I accepted her odd request.

I told Dew about my wife's divorce conditions... She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she applies, she has to face the divorce, she said scornfully. My wife and I hadn't had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mummy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain.

From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly; don't tell our son about the divorce. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outside the door. She went to wait for the bus to work. I drove alone to the office.

On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on my chest. I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I hadn't looked at this woman carefully for a long time.. I realized she was not young any more. There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair was graying! Our marriage had taken its toll on her. For a minute I wondered what I had done to her.

On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of intimacy returning. This was the woman who had given ten years of her life to me.

On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of intimacy was growing again. I didn't tell Dew about this. It became easier to carry her as the month slipped by. Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger. She was choosing what to wear one morning. She tried on quite a few dresses but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my dresses have grown bigger. I suddenly realized that she had grown so thin, that was the reason why I could carry her more easily.

Suddenly it hit me... she had buried so much pain and bitterness in her heart. Subconsciously I reached out and touched her head. Our son came in at the moment and said, Dad, it's time to carry mum out.To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had become an essential part of his life.

My wife gestured to our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I turned my face away because I was afraid I might change my mind at this last minute. I then held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly; it was just like our wedding day.But her much lighter weight made me sad.

On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step. Our son had gone to school. I held her tightly and said, I hadn't noticed that our life lacked intimacy.I drove to office.... jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door. I was afraid any delay would make me change my mind... I walked upstairs. Dew opened the door and I said to her, Sorry, Dew, I do not want the divorce anymore. She looked at me, astonished, and then touched my forehead. Do you have a fever? She said. I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Dew, I said, I won't divorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn't value the details of our lives, not because we didn't love each other any more.

Now I realize that since I carried her into my home on our wedding day I am supposed to hold her until death do us apart.Dew seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into tears.

I walked downstairs and drove away.At the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife. The salesgirl asked me what to write on the card. I smiled and wrote, I'll carry you out every morning until death do us apart. That evening I arrived home, flowers in my hands, a smile on my face, I run up stairs, only to find my wife in the bed - dead.

The small details of your lives are what really matter in a relationship. It is not the mansion, the car, property, the money in the bank, blah..blah..blah. These create an environment conducive for happiness but cannot give happiness in themselves. So find time to be your spouse's friend and do those little things for each other that build intimacy. Do have a real happy marriage! Share this and it might save a marriage

MY CHINESE NEW YEAR HOOTS
It is the time of the year where buying new clothings and shoes are customary. I've decided that i need a new pair of jeans since my current one is torn and tattered after close to 4 years of wearing. I really love my current pair of Levis which was the previously launched square cut jeans. Its now turned to grey from the previous black colour.

I was undecided over which brand of jeans to go for, Nudies? Samurai? Diesel? Tough Jeans? For sure Nudies and Samurai are just way to expensive for me now ($300 - $500 for a pair). And a pair of levis is just nice since they are having a $50 trade in for ur old jeans right now.

I bought this pair of Levi's 508 which is a regular cut jeans. The colour is dark blue and its cutting is just like slim fit. I got 31", dunno if its the right decision, since it is just nice. But jeans will stretch rite?

The last time i bought a pair of shoes is way back in 2007. So far i only own 2 pair of shoes which is an addidas sneakers and a puma sneakers. the addidas pair lasted me for like 6 years? before giving way. I dun normally shop for shoes, only when i come across a pair that is to my liking and is really what i wanted.

This pair definitely caught my eyes. Its a pair of Onitsuka Tiger by Asics. Its from the Mexico 66 series.

Is it really from Japan as claimed? or only the box?

First unboxed it...

Looks like skating shoes? I really like it for the blue and red stripes.

There is another pair which is dirty green and red (ITALY Colours). Dun really like green though.
Now i need to shop for 1 or 2 tops.
