Self Service Japanese Restaurant

ok, this is one very interesting Restaurant that i went to... Mogu Mogu. Its at Far East and its a Self Service Restaurant. First look and impression of the restaurant is that, its more of a "Fast Take Away" restaurant than a eat in one.

It has very limited menu items... only rice ones and no noodles... Alrite, here are the pics...

Mogu Mogu, the restaurant...

As you can see, its a self service restaurant and menu items are very limited...

Here is the self order vending machine where u will select and buy your meals... and you will insert your money (notes or coins in) and then they will dispense a Receipt for you...

This is the receipt that you will get once you purchase your meals... then you will wait for the chef to cook your meal and shout your reciept number (machiam seeking doctor's consultation)...

This is how the restaurant looks like... very few people ona Saturday nite, i guess this store is a crowd puller on a weekday afternoon? with the students???

I ordered the Katsu Curry Don... it is quite small, but i would say rather impressed with the quality... the curry is nice and fagrant, potatoe and carrot not overcooked and the katsu, fried to perfection! OISHI Nehhh....
Overall, i feel that in terms of food, it can be comparable to certain big boys like Sakae, Genki, Ichiban and even Waraku... i would say it beats Sakae really hands down in terms of quality.
Service wise, its self service, but they still have one person who will assist you in the purchase of your meals over at the vending machine.
compared to those food court Jap stores, im very sure this is a much decent meal than those... Its definitely worth a try....
